Call for Abstracts of Papers

This is a Call for Abstracts of poster and oral presentations to be presented at the 42nd International Carrot Conference, which will take place June 2-3, 2026 at Marriot Hotel and Convention Center in Bakersfield, CA, USA. Authors are required to submit abstracts for each oral presentation and/or poster they wish to present.                                                                                          
Abstract Specifications
The template for both poster and oral presentations is provided below. We ask authors to please not change the formatting of the template. Save the file for submission with the first author's last name (e.g. Coe_Abstract). In case the first author submits more than one abstract, please indicate by numbering the submissions (e.g. Coe_Abstract_1, Coe_Abrstract_2, etc). Abstracts are limited to a 300-word paragraph. This includes the text but not the title or authors. The accepted abstracts, with accompanying conference registration, will be published in the 42nd International Carrot Conference Book.

Oral Presentations

All oral presentations should be no more than 15 minutes. Authors should plan a 15-minute presentation. A 3-minute question period will follow each presentation. PowerPoint presentations (16:9 format) must be submitted to [email protected]. 

Posters

Poster dimensions should not exceed 114 cm x 114 cm (45 in x 45 in).
