We welcome submission of carrot cultivars to include in the Carrot Cultivar Demonstration Plots at the 42nd International Carrot Conference. The conference will be held on 2-3 June 2026 in Bakersfield, CA, USA. The field tour associated with the conference on 3rd June will include a visit to a conventional Carrot Cultivar Demonstration Trial at a growers’ field, harvest operations in the field, as well as some carrot research trials (Alternaria trial) at the Shafter Research Farm, Shafter, CA. The 442nd ICC Organizing Committee is excited to have plots in the cultivar trial represent diverse carrot types and varieties. Please submit entries for the demonstration trials!
 
Entries should be submitted into one of the following groups:  
Imperator cellos
Imperator cut ‘n peel
Colored carrots
Processing types
Nantes types
Breeding populations/inbred lines
Others
 
Those interested in participating, please send 15 g of raw (non-pelleted) seed. The seed can be treated with fungicides as the entries will be planted in the conventional trial.  Each sample you submit needs to be identified as to which category it belongs. For the colored carrots, please indicate the root color.
 
If you wish to participate in the Alternaria trial, each company can send 5 samples, labelled specifically for Alternaria trial.
